Founded in 2004, Xavier University School of Medicine is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large town of Oranjestad (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine, Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM) is a very small coeducational Aruban higher education institution. Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 18 years old Aruban higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. XUSOM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
