Established in 1981, Xiamen University of Technology is a higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Xiamen (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Fujian. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Fujian Province, Xiamen University of Technology (XMUT) is a small coeducational Chinese higher education institution.
