Established in 1958, XiangTan University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Xiangtan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Hunan. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Hunan Province, XiangTan University (XTU) is a very large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. XiangTan University (XTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. XTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
