Founded in 1984, Yantai University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Yantai (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Shandong. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Shandong Province, Yantai University (YTU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Yantai University (YTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 38 years old Chinese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
