Established in 1995, Yasuj University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Yasuj (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Yasuj University of Medical Sciences (YUMS) is a small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Yasuj University of Medical Sciences (YUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. YUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
