Founded in 1948, Yili Normal University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Yining (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Xinjiang. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Yili Normal University (YLNU) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Yili Normal University (YLNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
