Established in 2006, Yobe State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Damaturu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yobe. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, Yobe State University (YSU) is a coeducational Nigerian higher education institution. Yobe State University (YSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. YSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
