Established in 1964, Yuanpei University is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Hsinchu (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hsinchu County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, Yuanpei University (YPU) is a medium-sized coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. Yuanpei University (YPU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
