Founded in 1875, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Chernivtsi (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Chernivtsi Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (ChNU) is a large coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (ChNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 146 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
