Established in 1975, Zanjan University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Zanjan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Zanjan University (ZNU) is a medium-sized coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Zanjan University (ZNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 47 years old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. ZNU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
