Founded in 2003, Zeppelin University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Friedrichshafen (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Baden-Wurttemberg. Officially recognized by the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg (Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg), Zeppelin University (ZU) is a very small coeducational German higher education institution.
