Founded in 1978, Zhaotong University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Zhaotong (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Yunnan. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Yunnan Province, Zhaotong University (ZTU) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Zhaotong University (ZTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. ZTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
